Sterling L. Miller
Senior Vice President, General Counsel

Sterling Miller doesn't mind a good lawyer joke. In fact, he's even been known to tell one from time-to-time. But when it comes to leading the Travelocity legal department, he's all business, all the time.

Miller was named Travelocity Senior Vice President and General Counsel in March 2004, heading up the company's legal department, which includes providing legal counsel to all lines of business, ensuring compliance with applicable laws, and representing the company before federal and local courts and agencies. Prior to joining Travelocity, he was Deputy General Counsel for Litigation and Regulatory Affairs for Travelocity's parent company, Sabre Holdings.

Before time spent at Sabre, Sterling served as an attorney for American Airlines focusing on litigation and regulatory matters. Prior to joining American Airlines, he was an attorney with the firm of Gallop Johnson & Neuman in St. Louis, Missouri.

MIller earned his J.D. degree with honors from Washington University in St. Louis and his bachelor's degree in political science from Nebraska Wesleyan University. He is a member of the Texas and Missouri Bar Associations, the American Bar Association, and has published several legal articles.

Favorite travel moment:
"I've traveled extensively to Europe and South America, but my most memorable travel experience was a trip to Disneyland in December 2001 with my wife and daughters, then six and four years old, and an extended family that included both sets of grandparents, aunts, uncles and numerous cousins. It was pure magic from the time we stepped off the plane and was just one of those special moments in time where everything went right and everyone had a terrific time. You have to see Disneyland through the eyes of small children!"
